Failure to pay within the time specified (postmarked within 10 days of issue) will result in the issuance of a late fee of $20 payable within 20 days of the original ticket date. Failure to pay the ticket will result in citation, summons, escalated fine, court costs, and processing fees.
Payment may be mailed to the Police Department, deposited in the red Fine-O-Meter courtesy box located outside of the Police Department, or paid at the Police Department during regular business hours. PARKING TICKET DEVICE
New Hope Borough Police Parking Department uses a Parking Ticket System that creates parking tickets via a handheld device, called “hand gear” that is manufactured by United Public Safety, a company based out of Horsham, Pa. Parking tickets are white and made of a tyvex paper.
The advantages of this system is that it allows up to three pictures to be taken of the violation, the tag, and any other pertinent information. The data is then brought back to the station and downloaded directly into the records management system.
